Lionel Marty was born in Aurillac, France in 1971.

An author and illustrator, he has published the science fiction series Mort Linden, the epic and fantastic evocation of the first crusade Le Rêve de Jérusalem, and the ancient Greek thriller Les 7 Merveilles: Le Mausolée d'Halicarnasse, among others

He also works as an illustrator for role playing games.

Lionel lives and works in Corrèze.
