Massimiliano Notaro was born in Rome in 1975. He began his professional career working for the important Dino Leonetti Studios. In 2004 he drew one of the books of the famous John Doe saga, after which he collaborated with French writer Philippe Saimbert on the thriller Blood Academy. In 2014 he published two fantasy books of the series Throne of Ice, replacing the French artist Val.
