On March 17th, writer/artist Ibrahim Moustafa, colorist Brad Simpson, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou unleash Count, a bold and kinetic retelling of Alexandre Dumas' 1844 adventure classic, The Count of Monte Cristo. Moustafa builds deftly on the story's original foundation of a merchant betrayed and wrongfully imprisoned, escaping from a desolate prison to enact vengeance. That core now hums with a swift new energy and intoxicating momentum, punctuated by crimson robots, jetpack rebellions, and white-knuckle sword fights.

Moustafa joins Humanoids publisher Mark Waid and Sean Edgar to discuss his breathless and endlessly engaging new graphic novel. Click here to listen on Apple Podcasts
