Jun 24, 2020 ALA
Like many events this year, ALA, or the American Library Association, has shifted its annual convention online to navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. That gathering—now called ALA Virtual—launched today and runs through Friday, June 26th.
Humanoids is a huge fan of all things ALA, as librarians have served as the vanguard of introducing sequential art to new audiences—especially young readers and middle-grade readers. So if you're a librarian and you happen to be reading this, thank you. And if you're a librarian and you're reading this, please say hello to our two representatives at ALA virtual: Sales Representative Harley Salbacka and Sales Manager Pedro Hernandez.
We have amazing, amazing stories lined up into Fall 2020 and beyond, and we can't wait to share them with you. If you are attending ALA Virtual, please visit us on the following link: bit.ly/2B2PGE2. We'll be showing off books and celebrating reading ever day from June 24-June 26.
