Loisel

Born in 1951, Régis Loisel is a French writer of comic books most well-known for his dark, Dickensian interpretation of Peter Pan. The style which he used in the epic fantasy saga The Quest of the Time-Bird, became standard for the European artists that work in the genre. Other works include the feral child story Pyrénée, drawn by Philippe Sternis, and in 2006 he teamed up with Jean-Louis Tripp to create Magasin Général. He also worked on two Disney animated movies: Mulan and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, as well as creating the characters for the video game Gift.
