Ruiz Velasco

Francisco Ruiz Velasco began his comics career in his native Mexico in the mid-1990s, when he founded Studio F, a computer coloring studio. In 2000, he made his debut in the USA with the solo mini-series BattleGods for Dark Horse. He followed up with series like Lone Wolf 2100 and Thunderbolts, for which he did interior artwork and colors. He also created El Diablo: Tales of Sanctuary, a single issue based on the video game. He was nominated for an Eisner in 2001 for most Promising Newcomer.
