Philippe Riche was born in 1971, and is a comic book writer, artist and was a storyboarder on Code Lyoko and Arthur and the Invisibles as well as a writer for animated TV series Rabbids Invasion. In 2003, he published Bad Break, his first comic book, and he revisited the Bad Break characters in The Alliance of the Curious published in 2006.
