After several years spent working in video games and Japanese animation, Guillaume Dorison, aka Izu, became literary editor of the French branch of Humanoids in 2006 when he launched the Shogun collection dedicated to original manga creations, with the aim of reinventing the Shonen genre. Under the pen name Izu, he has written over 20 comics and manga, including the sci-fi series Omega Complex, which was given the Animeland Award for Best French manga in 2010.
