Born in 1959, Laurent Rullier is a French comics writer. A historian by training, he was a freelance journalist who together with Stanislas created the adventures of Victor Levallois, whom he described as “a Nick Hornby hero in a Joseph Conrad novel.” He also contributed to the TV adaptations of Spirou, Kid Paddle and Papyrus and in 2005 created a new series Antoine Sèvres, about a monk who must solve a series of murders.
