No power in the Universe is greater than the power of my master, The Metabaron; and no force that has ever existed was greater than that of his ancestors. They are the greatest combatants in the Universe, and each generation takes another step forward on the way of the warrior, the way of the whole man. They are descendants of the Non-Baron Dayal of Castaka, who took possession of the planet Marmola and absorbed the spirit of the mythical bird named Gangez—one of the Universe's six birds of fire. Heirs to the Bushitaka culture, they form a lineage of invincible Metawarriors that are in turn adventurers and mercenaries.
