Boro Pavlovic received a degree in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1979 and began working as a decorator in the Croatian National Theater in Split until 1991. He settled in Oslo in 1992, where he began working for the North-European department of the publishing house Semic. Between 2002 and 2009, he worked with writer Christian Perrissin on the series El Niño for Humanoids, and they continued their collaboration with Les Munroes in 2010.
