Born in the French city of Grenoble, Tommy Redolfi always knew he wanted to be an artist, a storyteller. In 2003, he published his first graphic novel, Rayban Dog, then, two years later, La perspective Nevskiaux (The Nevskiaux perspective, éditions Paquet). Influenced by authors like Gogol, Radcliffe, Adelbert von Chamisso and Théophile Gauthier, Tommy Redolfi published a batch of books in the first decade of the 2000s: Mae West (éditions Nocturne, 2007), Viktor (La Boîte à bulles), La maison sur la colline (The House on the Hill, Dupuis, 2009). His taste for supernatural stories even allowed him to adapt one of Hoffmann’s shorts Le violon de Crémone (Crémone’s Violin, 2010). His seventh effort, Mon Oncle (My Uncle) was published in 2012, followed by Marilyn’s Monsters. Tommy Redolfi has also directed several short films (@Marcus, The Nonchalant, The Great Escape) and expands his creativity in many other fields.
